Joseph Herrera
Research Associate
Joseph Herrera is a research associate at the Public Policy Institute of California, where he studies education policy. Prior joining PPIC, he was a graduate student fellow for the Center of the Study of Race and Democracy at the University of Texas at Austin, where he examined the effects of local cultural districts on appreciating housing values in Austin and surrounding underserved populations. He holds an MA in economics from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BA in economics from the University of Oklahoma.
