Steven Bliss
Director of Digital Strategy
Steven Bliss is director of digital strategy at the Public Policy Institute of California. He leads media outreach and digital strategy, working with other staff to maximize the reach and impact of PPIC’s research. Prior to this, Steven was director of strategic communications for the California Budget & Policy Center in Sacramento. He previously served as executive director of Renew Lehigh Valley, which promotes urban revitalization and regional equity in eastern Pennsylvania. Steven worked for several years as a San Francisco-based consultant specializing in policy research and analysis on housing, transportation, and workforce and economic development. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and holds an MA in literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
