Jane Sawerengera

Jane Sawerengera is a research associate at the Public Policy Institute of California, where she studies the economy, labor market and employment policies, and barriers to economic opportunity. Previously, she worked as a research associate for the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, where she studied the effects of the macroeconomic and policy framework on the business operating environment. She holds an MA in economics from Binghamton University, an MA in applied economics from Wichita State University, and a BA in social sciences from the University of Malawi.
