A meeting in relation to the Dalkey/Mosney Migrant Project will take place in Our Lady’s Hall at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 1st May to review this inter-Church project and decide how we wish to proceed. A number of proposals have been made e.g. a day in Tayto Park. There may also be other ideas. All are welcome to attend this meeting.
Pope Francis has now confirmed he will visit Dublin on August 25-26 for the World Meeting of Families.The two events at which Pope Francis has confirmed attendance are the Festival of Families on 25th August and the Final Mass on Sunday 26th August. Both of these events are free but ticketed– every adult and child in attendance will need a ticket to access the venues. Places are subject to availability. See EVENTS

A day on Meditation will take place in Loreto Secondary School on Sat. 14th April 10.00am – 4.00pm with Dr Jo Newman. Booking is essential, through the Parish office – tel 012859418 or email – email@example.com. Anyone who may be interested in the tradition of meditation or in joining the parish Meditation Group is invited to attend. A brief introduction to the practice of meditation will also be given. Teas/coffee will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.
A series of ‘Parish Conversations’ in preparation for the World Meeting of Families in August 2018, will conclude in Our Lady’s Hall on Tuesday 20th March at 7.30 pm. All are encouraged to attend and begin to be part of this great event. The theme this week is A Gospel of Hope for our Families.
National standardised tests for Maths and English in 2012 indicated competency for children in Moyross to be relatively poor, but the same tests carried out in 2016 showed significant improvement partly due to after school activities, homework clubs and other projects and initiatives supported by fundraising such as the Church Gate collection in Dalkey. This year the collection will take place after all Masses on 10th & 11th March 2018.
The Service of Prayer for Christian Unity will take place in St. Patrick’s Church on Tuesday 23rd January 2018 at 7.30 pm.
The speaker will be Fr Bob Whiteside, who will speak on the theme of World Meeting of Families.
