Statewide Survey: Californians and the Environment

Virtual Event

July 29, 2021 · 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

ONLINE-ONLY EVENT

About the Program

The July PPIC survey examines Californians’ perceptions of environmental issues facing the state, including the current drought, wildfires, and climate change. It explores views on how Governor Newsom and President Biden are handling these issues and gauges support for environmental and energy policies in California. PPIC survey analyst Rachel Lawler will present key findings and then discuss takeaways with PPIC president and CEO Mark Baldassare.

The survey and this event are supported with funding from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the Dirk and Charlene Kabcenell Foundation.

PPIC is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization. PPIC does not take or support positions on any ballot measure or on any local, state, or federal legislation, nor does it support, endorse, or oppose any political parties or candidates for public office.
